Routine and Rules: Welcome
Three French Bullgod Puppies

ROUTINE

To give you an idea of what your dog will get up to, here is itinerary of our day

Arrivals: 7am – 8.30am 

  • Dogs are welcomed in,their belongings put in to their baskets and chill until everyone in calm

Dogs play time: 8.30am – 10am 

  • Let the fun begin – it's playtime activity - run around, over the bridge, through the cube, sniffing my mates, tug with Bert, fetch that ball, chase the ball it’s all great exercise, but then some, like Rags, just like to watch, taking it easy whilst chilling on the beds.  Then off outside to our great sensory garden, pool area, ball pit, outdoor games or chill outside and have a little rest.

Dog enrichment: 10am – 10.30am

  • Oh it's enrichment time, oh but I have to behave, learn new things; sit, stay, come, little low level agility, sniff out the scent. Our  and buddies will spend group and individual time with your dog with positive reward based training.

Dogs chill time: 10.30am - 11.00am 

  • Yeah group rest time, off to the comfy chill zone with classical music played, find a cosy bed, lay down, chill, sleep.

Dogs play time: 11.00am – 12.00pm 

  • Oh great, it's playtime again.  Starting outside in the sensory garden sniffing, running away with my mates,  then run over the bridge, through the cube, sniff my mates, tug with Bert, fetch that ball, chase the ball it’s all great exercise, but then some, like Rags, just like to watch, taking it easy whilst chilling on the beds.  

Dogs chill time: 12.00pm – 2.00pm 

  • It's lights out time.  Off to the comfy chill zone with classical music playing, find a cosy bed or crate, lay down, chill, sleep.  It is during this period, some dogs leave and some arrive.

Dog play time: 2.00pm - 3.30pm 

  • Oh great, its playtime again. The new joiners get to say "Hi" to their friends. Starting outside in the sensory garden sniffing, running away with my mates, then run over the bridge, through the cube, sniff my mates, tug with Bert, fetch that ball, chase the ball its all great exercise, but then some like Rags, just like to watch, taking it easy whilst chilling on the beds.

Dog enrichment: 3.30pm – 4pm

  • Oh it's enrichment time, oh but I have to behave, learn new things; sit, stay, come, little low level agility, sniff out the scent. Our  and buddies will spend group and individual time with your dog with positive reward based training. 

Home time: 4.00pm - 7.00pm 

  • Phew day's almost over, can’t wait to tell my family about my day. I’ve exercised, learnt new things, had lots of care and attention from my human buddies, oh I love it at TLC Dog Social Club. Don’t forget to book in for next time, perhaps I can have a serviced dog wash too!

To ensure we do not upset our neighbours, we attempt to adhere to a no bark policy. We have to be very consistent with this, so upon arrival, please be patient while we ensure all our dogs are respecting this rule.

NO UNSOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

Barking, fighting, growling or mounting

To ensure all our pups are happy, we can not accept dogs that either incite or participate in fights.  Dogs who growl or show certain behaviours are not suitable for the TLC Dog Club Social either.  To ensure we do not upset our neighbours, we attempt to adhere to a no bark policy. We have to be very consistent with this, so upon arrival, please be patient while we ensure all our dogs are respecting this rule.

DOG ASSESSMENT

Assessing suitability

Not all dogs are suitable for daycare, this is why they must all be assessed. Some are much more suited to a group dog walk environment or an individual dog walk environment.

Legalities

A register must be kept of all the dogs accommodated in the home which must include the following:
(a)the dates of each dog’s arrival and departure;
(b)each dog’s name, age, sex, neuter status, microchip number and a description of it or its breed;
(c)the number of any dogs from the same household;
(d)a record of which dogs (if any) are from the same household;
(e)the name, postal address, telephone number (if any) and email address (if any) of the owner of each dog and emergency contact details;
(f)in relation to each dog, the name, postal address, telephone number and email address of a local contact in an emergency;
(g)the name and contact details of each dog’s normal veterinarian and details of any insurance relating to the dog;
(h)details of each dog’s relevant medical and behavioural history, including details of any treatment administered against parasites and restrictions on exercise;
(i)details of each dog’s diet and related requirements;
(j)any required consent forms;
(k)a record of the date or dates of each dog’s most recent vaccination, worming and flea treatments;
(l)details of any medical treatment each dog is receiving.
When outside the premises, each dog must wear an identity tag which includes the licence holder’s name and contact details.
